Yes, we’re open!

Yes, we’re open!

WE ARE OPEN; open to change, open to risk, to possibility and to reward.

So happy to be open again and back in the swing of things. Closing for 4 weeks really helped me think about what we are doing and why. After spending years in the Army and in Corporate jobs and traveling when I was needed, we opened our business to have more control and be more involved in our kid’s lives and in our community. We did the work and dedicated time to really identify what was important to us and how our very own business would fulfill those needs. I learned as a young adult that “anything worth having is worth working for” and I’ve lived by that personal mantra since. Therefore, when the pandemic hit and we were forced to close, the potential financial impact on our family was terrifying. A risk we hadn’t expected when we decided to go it alone and create jobs for others. But we went back to our dream board and all the reasons having a business and helping other business owners in our community made us happy. We were determined to do the work, make necessary changes and survive!  What is your Why? Have you read the book “Start with Why” by Simon Sinek? I highly recommend it. Being an entrepreneur isn’t easy, it’s more work than you ever expect but it’s also far more rewarding than you ever expect. The work is worth it! I visit with business owners every day discussing their marketing and sign needs. I chat with marketing professionals and directors of non-profits, mothers and fathers looking for birthday banners and proud grandparents wanting a graduation yard sign. We offer a design and print service that our community relies upon and we rely on them. That’s why we do what we do and while it is a lot of work, I can’t imagine loving my work anymore than I do. So, yes, we’re open – to change, to risk, to possibility and to reward. I hope you are open by now too.
